:: summer vacation ::

We took the opportunity to visit family over the last week in Rochester and the cities. It was so enjoyable and relaxing. It's not often we do not have to make a meal for 5 days and get to put our feet up :)

First stop: Rochester. Auntie Lori and Uncle Justin.

PB & J Cheesehead men - Love.
Huge playground!

Captain Hook's (Alden's) prisoners.

Feeding the geese in the river.

Feed the birds a piece of bread, feed Alden a piece of bread :-)

Seth learning the family roast recipe.

While dinner was being made in the kitchen, Justin decided to challenge the boys to a Duplo Lego tower building contest.
Tallest tower wins $1; Second tallest wins $.50

The boys got to work.

Then, he challenged them to using every last block in the box. If they met the challenge, they would receive $5 each. He didn't think they could do it.....$5 is very motivating.....

Winners!

The following morning, O and I headed out on the bike trail that runs along the river.

Our second morning bike ride/run, we hit the hopscotch court!

Lark Toys = pretty cool toy store!

Favorite!

Picnic at the Mississippi River!

Evening at Chuck E. Cheese. The boys loved it!

Stop #2: Shoreview. Luke and Sara.

Swimming at Lake Josephine - so fun!

Relaxing on the deck, finding Waldo. It's hard to take these moments at home when there are a million things to do.....

Dinner time!

On our way to Robo's first birthday party!

Having fun in Luke and Sara's sprinkler system :)

Kinect Sports....it's a killer.
Awesome vacation!
