:: boy marsolek ::

Being pregnant with a third boy has been a bit of a different experience this time around.  I didn't have my head in the toilet every morning, but just felt nauseous all day everyday, which made teaching kindergartners just peachy. I haven't decided which is worse. But, it made me wonder if this time around it was a girl.

Seth actually came up with the idea of having a cake party to find out what we were having this last time around. So, we had the ultrasound and had the technician put the results in an envelope. We mailed the result to cousin Michelle to bake the cake (the most wonderful cake!) and we went on vacation. When we returned, we found out with our favorite people. It went a little something like this...

Happy grandmas :-)

We can't seem to decide on a name and I have a feeling the final decision will be made in the hospital. Some pretty wild name ideas have been thrown out this time around, but I have assured Boy Marsolek that he will have a respectable name.

It's time now. I've had enough of this being pregnant business.

:: woodland hockey 2013-2014 :

Another hockey season came and went. Alden played his first year at the M1 level and Owen moved up to M2s. I decided it would be a great idea to serve on the board as the concessions manager....not such a great idea when already overcommitted. Oh well, lesson learned.

ALDEN  #5

Is hockey really only four months away?!?

:: captiva island ::

In mid-February, we left the cold and snow for Captiva Island, FL. We brought our parents along and enjoyed the sun, warmth, and water.
