:: the sandy conclusion ::

Wrapping up....Sandy continued until Christmas!

Will we see him next year ??

:: owen's great eight skate ::

If there's anything unbelievable, it is the fact that our oldest son is 8! Owen is such a sweet and good-natured boy who loves baseball, hockey...basically anything having to do with sports! He is also an excellent artist and loves math! He chose to have his hockey-themed party at World of Wheels to rollerblade and they had a blast!

Birthday pancakes!
Cake with grandma and grandpa!

:: thanksgiving '14 ::

 Our thanksgiving started a week earlier at Luke & Sara's for the Marsolek celebration. The weekend was full of family time, football, crafting for the new baby cousin's room, snowman building, and an impromptu pre-dinner dance party.

"I don't know about this grandma......."

This is what serious post-thanksgiving napping looks like.

Then, for the Sather thanksgiving, we gathered at my parents and had almost everyone there (just missing Abby). It truly was one of the most enjoyable Thanksgivings! We even got some gingerbread men made :-)

Very thankful for family!
