I count myself very lucky to have such a candid, hilarious little nephew like Dom.

He'll never shy away from an opportunity in front of the camera. :-)

:: bachelorette mayhem ::

Socializing, manicures, appetizers, signature drinks, gifts, blue cocktail dresses, dinner, sake bombs, and hours of dancing = successful celebration of Sara'a last single night out!

:: mother's day ::

When we were growing up, we used to always hike the Lake Superior Hiking Trail off of the Munger bike trail and climb to the top of the mountain. In the years I've been away from home, the entrance to the trail had been blocked off with No Trespassing signs due to private property.

We decided we would explore and find a new entrance - this trail has a lot of memories! We found ourselves entering the woods, sliding down to the railroad tracks, saving Autumn from being flattened by a train, and finally hiking the trail and finding a new rerouted entrance. Success!

We found the new access point!!

Meeting at the South Shore for a chilly spring campfire is soon becoming a tradition. It's refreshing to get into the sand, sit by the water, and smell the scent of campfire :)

The weather has not been nice to us this spring, and several weekends ago, we needed to get out of the house. We didn't care that it was cold and rainy....we needed to get out!
