In November, 2012...

we tried and LOVED open gymnastics as a winter energy burner...

we built a Lego train that stuck around for an entire week...

we celebrated an early Thanksgiving...

and we celebrated Thanksgiving with a large family gathering, a prize-winning turkey cook-off, and photo booth shenanigans!

In October, 2012...

we played chess...

we played at Enger Park...

we had birthday pancakes (4 years old!)...

we celebrated Alden's scary 4th BOOthday party...

we refurbished the playroom...

we celebrated Chris and Kim's wedding...

we rode bikes a lot....

we had a Halloween dinner with Grandma and Old Grandma Grandma...

we celebrated Halloween, adult style...

we carved pumpkins

and we went trick-or-treating and ate WAY too much candy!

In September, 2012...

we started the first day of kindergarten and preschool...

we hugged and goofed around as brothers should...

we celebrated cousin Cam's birthday, and were grateful to have those boys back in our lives...

we ate a lot of [cooked] sushi...

we celebrated AJ and Lindsay's wedding...

and we went to have a listen to Mike's new band, October Road.

In August, 2012...

we visited Temecula, CA for a family wedding...

we played with Legos...

we visited Ava, Alicia and Mike in Fargo, ND and had a blast at the Children's Museum...

we celebrated Lindsay's bachelorette party...

we toured the William A. Irvin, a dream of Alden's...

we had more cousin time at Gooseberry...

we celebrated our friends' housewarming party...

we climbed the spider web before the Farmer's Market...

we played and coached soccer...

and we went to Enger Tower and dropped stuffed animals from the top.

In July, 2012...

we went to St. Croix State Park for our annual 4th of July camping trip and just barely survived the blazing heat and mosquitos...

we celebrated the 4th of July at home...

we celebrated Tina and Nathan's wedding with the bestest of friends...

we attempted Net Busters...

we celebrated my 30th birthday with a beach bash...

we met and rode on Thomas the Train...

we celebrated Gord and Robyn's wedding...

and we played at Brighton Beach.

In June, 2012...

we attended the preschool carnival...

we threw rocks in Lake Superior...

we made Dad his Father's Day present...

we watched TV in full police garb...

we graduated preschool...

we enjoyed Father's Day with a wonderful outdoor dinner...

we splashed through the yard after the giant Duluth flood...

we attended the Sather Family Reunion and had fun on the giant slip and slide, ultimate frisbee, bonfire, food... and the watermelon eating contest:

we played with water shooters...

we celebrated Tina's bachelorette party...

and we enjoyed some time at a friend's cabin swimming, boating, picking up giant leeches, playing the frisbee game..and getting duck itch.
